Watchmen...?

My roommate Melissa, Mai, John B. and I just got out of from watching Watchmen. UW held a free screening in the HUB and they are usually really fun! The line was super long and everyone was very excited, the promoters were doing a great job in pumping up the audience..I even won a free shirt!

HOWEVER, this movie was a little different...Hm..what do I have to say about that movie? Lets just say, sometime during the movie, we all fell asleep. Maybe it's because we're not hard core fans but overall, we all thought it wasn't that great of a movie. It was SUPER long (10 reels long lol = 3 hours), dragging, confusing, and kind of boring. They had a couple of action scenes here and there but it only lasted for 5 minutes, then it was dialogue for half an hour. This movie is sooooo a rental! But hey, maybe you'll like it more than we did.

I'm sure you all have guessed that the M stands for Melissa and A stands for Alana and the H stands for...? Yeah, we're wondering where that person is at too! H is for our third and lovely roommate Haizel. She's a busy bee, but she NEEDS to get her butt on this thing or it's about to be A.M Slice!..your morning slice! No just joking we love her, but I just wanted to give you guy the 411 about the meaning of H.A.M so ya'llz don't think we're crazy. so something went wrong with our garbage disposal (AGAIN!) and we were tryin to fix it.. and...

alana-"do u have a flashlight?
melissa-"yeah i think i do, lemme go get it"
(comes back with flashlight)
alana-"whoaaa.. hahah ok what kind of flashlight is that?!"
melissa-"umm a road guard one"
(alana laughing away)
alana-"stick in the drain"
(i was kinda hesitant cuz i didn't want it to get dirty LOL)
alana-"whoaaa!! that's cool.. that's actually a pretty cool flashlight!! what is it again?"
melissa-"a road guard flashlight for safety..."
alana-"oh they gave you it?!" (referring to when i was in AFROTC)
melissa-"nah it was my dad's... ARMY!" hahaha

and alana continues to hold it and is amazed after dissin' on it and making fun of it! lol
